Finding the right motorhome for you and your family can be tricky business. There are literally thousands of models located in the UK and in other countries. There are campers that sit behind your truck and you tow them to your 
destination. There are motorhomes that combine the car aspect of the vehicle and the camper and put them into a single unit. Finding out which one best suits you depends on the context of your life. Do you want a full sized fridge because you have a family that likes to eat? How about a full size stove? Can you afford a full sized motorhome?
The first and most important decision when it comes to buying a RV is to find out if you want a separate unit that you tow or a standalone unit. They have multiple names depending where you live in the world. In the UK campers are oftentimes referring to the ones that you tow. Motorhomes refer to the units that have a trailer and vehicle combined in one. In general Motorhomes are going to cost you more than a camper. This is because you have to buy both the vehicle and the home itself. However, if you would have to buy a separate vehicle and a camper then the motorhome would be cheaper. Figure out which one best suits your requirements.
You then need to figure out what you want in your camper. Campers can hold a variety of things. Some have full sized fridges, some sacrifice fridge size for stove size, some sacrifice sleeping space for both stove and fridge sizes. Sit down with whoever you’re buying the camper with and figure out what the priority is. There are many different things that campers can prioritize. Spending a few minutes and figuring out what you really want is extremely important.
The last thing you should consider when looking for campers is what size you want. You can get absolutely massive campers or motorhomes or you can go for smaller sizes. The larger the unit the more expensive it is in general. Find a good balance between size and cost. Also, remember that larger units are harder to maneuver.
